Make the most of your ski weekend


One of the best ways to spend your weekends is to take a ski trip with family and friends. It is the best way to spend your weekend happily and recreationally, so think no more and make it a Ski weekend. A Ski weekend is a weekend when you take a break from your every day mundane life and go for skiing the whole weekend.
Now you must be curious about the reason you should spend skiing rather than staying at home and relax. The reasons are many-1.It feels really good to be amidst the nature, the big trees, and mountains and snow of course but if you do not find the scenic beauty much tempting then 2. The speed is surely going to raise your spirits. 3. Also, skiing can be good exercise too. So you have good enough reasons to make your weekends Ski weekends from now on.
If you have made up your mind to make almost all weekends Ski weekends then you must know there is a specific time of the year when you can take your weekend ski breaks. The right season for skiing is winter especially from November to April. If you want thicker snow you must go early. If you don’t like crowd and want to save money, then you should avoid occasions like Christmas and New Year.
While packing your bags you must be wondering what to pack for a Ski weekend. Here are some necessary things that you must take- 1.Ski and gear. 2. Gearbag. 3. Pair of mittens to keep your hands warm. 4. Water and wind resistant pants, socks, jacket etc. 5. Sunscreen lotion, lip balm and sunglass are a must to avoid sun burn. 6. Skiing helmet to avoid any head injury.
Although you are all set for a Ski weekend you still do not want to be less prepared. This is why take a look at these Do’s and Don’ts:
Do’s:
·         Join a ski school before you go skiing. This is a must for a newbie. Even if you have experience, joining refresher course is a wise decision.
·         Wear proper clothes especially layered clothes so that if you feel too hot, you can take them off.
·         Eat enough and sleep well.
Don’ts:
·         Wear casual clothes like jeans, shirts and sweatpants.
·         Forget to bring sunglass, helmet, lip balm and sunscreen.
·         Drink alcohol. You do not want to lose balance while skiing.
